UC alumni with high school students who are considering studying engineering or related fields in college are invited to join us for a fantastic opportunity to explore the world of the UC College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS). As an alumnus, you'll get to reconnect with fellow Bearcats, hear from college leadership, and learn about the college’s ambitious expansion plans. Meanwhile, students will enjoy engaging breakout sessions and hands-on activities that showcase the thrilling possibilities awaiting them in engineering. Don’t miss out on this chance to inspire the next generation and celebrate your alma mater!
This event is intended for current high school students (Grades 9-12) who are interested in pursuing a degree in engineering, or who are curious to learn more about the engineering programs and admissions process at UC.
After check-in at Mantei Center, we will split into two groups; prospective students and alumni parents, meeting back together for lunch. A sample schedule for each group is provided under FAQ's.

This event allows prospective students the opportunity to participate in hands-on engineering activities from multiple different disciplines that they would otherwise not have at an Open House or close-up event. In addition, alumni will have the opportunity to meet college leadership and learn more about its strategic direction.
Yes, and we chose this date because many schools are closed allowing for more participation. Since the event runs 9 a.m.-2 p.m. there will still be plenty of time either before or after to cast your vote!
