Women of UC: Empower Women Through Creativity

Wednesday, Aug. 6
6-8:30 p.m.

West Side Brewing
3044 Harrison Ave.
Cincinnati, OH

Join Women of UC to explore your creative side with local artist and Art for All People Director, Dr. Sarah Hellman CECH ’11, who will guide you through a featured painting with simple step-by-step instructions in a private paint party experience! Dr. Hellman will also share inspiring remarks with the group centered on the themes of self-love and self-compassion, which will be reflected in the painting options available for the evening. While she will lead us through a featured painting, she’ll also bring additional options to encourage creative freedom. Whether you choose to follow her guidance or make the artwork your own, the evening is designed to be a personal and empowering experience.

Registration is $50 and includes a guided painting class and all materials needed to paint, bites from Catch-A-Fire Pizza, and one (or two) drink tickets. You'll have fun and learn to express yourself in a new and exciting way, channel your "inner artist," and go home with a masterpiece that is exclusively yours.

Parking is recommended in the lot behind the Brewery on Ruehlman. If the lot is full, other recommended parking includes two public lots — one on Ruehlman Ave. behind the brewery and one behind W Bar and Bistro by Harrison Ave. and Epworth.
