Join us for a free, one-hour virtual presentation with Sarah Couch, Ph.D., who will offer practical tips for enjoying the holiday season while making balanced food choices. Dr. Couch will share evidence-based strategies to help everyone eat well, with a special focus on those living with diabetes. The session will include Q&A so bring your questions.
About the Presenter:
Sarah Couch, Ph.D., is a University of Cincinnati professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Nutrition in the Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in translating evidence-based dietary recommendations in chronic disease prevention and treatment for clinical applications. She has worked collaboratively with fellow health care professionals to educate patients, students and others in food literacy, seeking greater adherence to healthy eating patterns conducive to minimizing chronic disease risk.
Through her 30+ years of teaching, she has held leadership roles on the Advisory Panel on Nutrition and Hypertension State of Food and Nutrition, on the Council on Research Implementation Subcommittee of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and as president of the Greater Cincinnati Dietetic Association, among others.
