Something’s Happening Here
A Conversation with Student Leaders, Past & Present
Thursday, July 9
5:30-6:30 pm EST
Join us for a conversation between members of the classes of 1970 and 2020 as they discuss their own unique experiences as students at the University of Cincinnati. While their graduations may be separated by 50 years, parallels between their respective senior years exist; shortened spring semesters, nationwide protests, and widespread uncertainty connect these classes across generations.
Prior to attending, we recommend watching Something’s Happening Here: The University of Cincinnati 1965-1970, a short documentary film which explores the extraordinary years the class of 1970 spent on campus as witnesses to history and agents of change.
This event is complimentary and virtual. Participants must register to receive the credentials to join the virtual WebEx meeting.
This panel discussion will feature alumni from both classes. Panelists include:
- Logan Lindsay, CEAS ’21
- Bill Mulvihill, Bus ‘70
- Betsy Emish Stevens, PhD, A&S ’70, CAHS ‘71
- Abygia Tibebe, A&S '20
- Dwight Tillery, A&S ‘70
Moderated by Kevin Grace ’77 – University Archivist
Victoria Kuhlman, A&S '15
Program Director of Alumni and Donor Engagement, Student and Campus Engagement
