Vote for Brian Kelly as 2009 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year
Voting has begun nationwide for the 2009 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year, and UC fans are encouraged to support Bearcats head coach Brian Kelly for the prestigious honor by voting online every day at www.coachoftheyear.com.
If Coach Kelly wins, he will have the opportunity to direct $50,000 to the charitable activity of his choice, and an additional $20,000 will go to the UC Alumni Association.
Voting runs through Dec. 6. UC fans can vote once per day for Coach Kelly to help place him among the finalists for the award.
The top 15 coaches selected through the fan voting process will be evaluated on coaching excellence, sportsmanship and integrity, academic excellence, and community commitment criteria.
In addition to fan voting, respected members of the College Football Hall of Fame and national media members will vote for the coaches they feel most embody the criteria.
