2009 UCAA Tailgating Cook-off Contests

  This is your chance to show off your famous goetta recipe and enjoy a true Cincinnati favorite at the Bearcat Blitz. Enter your favorite goetta recipe incorporating Glier’s Goetta and have a chance to win some great prizes from the UCAA and Glier's Goetta. Recipes can be found in the Glier’s Goetta Recipe Book available at the Joseph Beth Booksellers in Rookwood, or online at goetta.com.

  Skyline Chili Cook-off
  Bring home bragging rights by winning the Skyline Chili Cook-Off at the Bearcat Blitz. Load up on your favorite Skyline Chili ingredients and enter your favorite recipe to win some great prizes from the UCAA and Skyline Chili.
  
  
  

UC Tailgating Cook-off Contest Rules

• The UCAA Tailgating Cook-off judging table will be located just off the southeast corner of the parking lot adjacent to the Myers Alumni Center.
  
  
• Three small samplings of your favorite recipe will be submitted to a panel of three judges for a taste test.
  
  
  • Small plates and bowls will be available at the judging table in which the samples will be presented.
    
    
  • Judging will be based on:
    
    
    • Taste (10)
    • Appearance (5)
    • Originality (5)
      
      
• Entries can be dropped off beginning 2.5 hours prior to kickoff and no later than 1.5 hours prior to kickoff.  The winner will be notified approximately an hour before kickoff and have a few photos taken.
  
  
• Each person is allowed only one entry into each contest.
  
  
• Judges will consist of a representative from the UCAA, a member of the UCAA’s Student Alumni Council, and a representative from Glier’s or Skyline.
  
  
• The prize for each cook-off will be a UC Tailgating package (approx. $125 value)
  

PLEASE NOTE: By entering and winning the UCAA Tailgate Cook-off, you are agreeing to allow the UC Alumni Association the right to use your photos on the UCAA website and in future marketing and communications.
