The University of Cincinnati Alumni Association is proud to serve and represent more than 230,000 UC alumni around the world, working to strengthen our shared connections to the university and each other. On the heels of our centennial celebration in 2007, we move into our second century of service with a new strategic plan to guide our work.
Driven by a set of Principles and Core Values, and including six Strategic Goals and the tactics that will turn strategy into purposeful action, this plan is the result of an in-depth, collaborative effort on the part of our Board of Governors, dozens of other alumni volunteers, our on-campus partners at the university and UC Foundation, and our hard-working staff. It incorporates the findings from extensive research with our alumni and students, as well as the good work being done at peer universities and alumni associations.
We firmly believe that this strategic framework is an example of “the right plan at the right time.” Indeed, the sense of opportunity and momentum at UC is palpable, and our alumni will play a central role in the university’s success just as they always have. A vibrant alumni community becomes self-sustaining, serves the interests of the university and its alumni family, and ultimately helps to raise the equity of every UC degree. The UC Alumni Association’s strategic plan was developed with these lofty ambitions in mind.
As the stature of the University of Cincinnati continues to grow, so does the need for an outstanding UC Alumni Association — one that reflects and enhances UC’s institutional excellence while connecting all members of the vast UC family.
